Lauren Jean O'Donnell, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor in Radiology at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women's Hospital. She received her Ph.D. from the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology program at MIT as part of the Medical Vision Group at the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. Her research group's key projects include analysis of very large diffusion MRI datasets, novel mapping of the superficial white matter, and machine learning using diffusion MRI tractography. Lauren's research group develops open-source software for diffusion magnetic resonance imaging (dmri.slicer.org) and white matter fiber clustering (github.com/SlicerDMRI/whitematteranalysis). Lauren's close collaborators and mentors include the Golby Lab for surgical brain mapping, the Laboratory of Mathematics in Imaging, and the Surgical Planning Laboratory at Harvard Medical School.
